How do I find the Portrait Gallery maze? I've exploded everything in the TV room, including the Penguin, now what? What is the first word said in "Storytime"? How many years until Ken Shabby gets a brush? What is the secret to intergallactic success? Help!

Stuck playing "Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time"? Feel like your wasting your time? Well fret no more! A new hint book is available from Prima Publishing. It is Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time: An Official Compendium of Answers to Ruddy Questions Not Normally Considered Relevant to Mounties! (from here on refered to as MPCWOTAOCOATRQNNCRTM)

The book provides clues and instructions for all six lobes of Mrs. Zambesi's brain: the Exploding TV Room, the Portrait Gallery, Test Your Skill, the Loonatorium, the Corridor, and the Pythonizer. It tells you what clues and situations to look for, how to find and navigate through Inner Space for each lobe, how to answer the quiz questions, and how to play the various arcade games. The book is also profusely illustrated with pictures and screen shots from the game, as well as a ton of silly Gilliam graphics. The instructions are sometimes a little confusing and are, in some cases, not the only way for getting the desired results. Also, they provide no clues as to where the maps to the mazes are hidden (a moot point, I know, because they give them to you in the book; still, it wouldn't have killed them to tell us...).

The book retails for $14.95 (U.S.) and £13.99 (U.K.). Major computer and book stores should carry it. Otherwise, call Prima Publishing (El Dorado Hills, California) at 1-800-531-2343.

Of course, reading this book before you have even experienced some of the surprises and fun playing the game itself is a bad idea. It makes for a very short game and is a generally naughty thing to do. If, however, you need some small hints or help, 7th Level has a hint file and several maps to help you. The can be found at the CWOT Product Forum at 7th Level's web site. Good luck!
