Well, here are a few "honorable" mentions we did not see
fit to include in the Monty Python Oscar Trivia List (see
above). These were films that received Oscar awards or nominations
but had only limited involvement by a Python. Still, in an effort to
be complete, here you have them. It did come as a shock to some to see
that "Casper" was not included in this year's Oscar nominations
for something like special effects. "Casper," as you'll recall,
also starred Eric Idle as a sniveling crook.
(John Cleese had a cameo appearance in this Muppet film)

(John Cleese starred as Professor Waldman in this Kenneth Branagh version
of the classic novel)
