NEW MONTY PYTHON & HOLY GRAIL COMPUTER GAME!

Here is a hilarious and NEW Monty Python and the Holy Grail video game... if you haven't seen it already. It is a shooting game in which you play one of the five knights of Camelot, dispensing French knights with an increasingly complex arsenal of weapons. Be quick, though... time runs out and the knights love to taunt and fart (in your general direction).

The game is available through classiccomedy.net, which is a comedy website run by Richard Bentine, son of famed British comedian Michael Bentine, one of the founding members of The Goons. The game went live on the site this past Monday (April 8).

This downloadable shooting game can be played for free, although additional levels and multiplayer modes are available for a fee. I've only played the first part of the game, which already is a lot of fun. The levels get increasingly harder and top scores can be recorded and compared with other players on the classiccomedy.net website.

You can choose any of five characters from the movie to play, including King Arthur. You use your arsenal of weapons to dispense the French kaniggets by lobbing stones and exploding amunition over the terrain and battlements where the French are hiding. The game was developed by BattleMail, a U.K. company that is making a name for itself in e-mail based arcade games.
