MAKERS OF GRAHAM CHAPMAN BIOPIC ALLOWED TO
USE HIS DIARIES
The producers of a new film about Graham Chapman have been given permission to use his personal diaries.
Gin And Tonic focuses on Chapman's life at Cambridge University and medical school, as well as the Monty Python years.
The diaries will now form the basis of the film.
Gin And Tonic is being co-written by Jim Yoakum, who worked as Chapman's writing partner.
The film's director, David Eric Brenner, said: "Graham's diaries reveal many previously unknown facts about his life, including that he was once engaged to a woman, and that there were some mysteries surrounding his medical training."
Filming is due to begin in London in November.
