The Los Angeles County Museum of Art hosts "Tilting at Windmills" November 15 - 23

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is hosting a film tribute dedicated to our resident visionary, Terry Gilliam. The festival, entitled Tilting at Windmills: The Fantastical Worlds of Terry Gilliam runs over the course of several weekends starting November 15.

Ian Birnie, a director at the museum, has also organized a retrospective on Dante Ferretti, the famed production designer who has worked on such films as Kundun, Hamlet, and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. The retrospective takes place the weekend before the Gilliam tribute and ends with a showing of Munchausen (supposedly a new print) in order to provide a bridge to the Gilliam weekends.
