Palin's, offers everything Palin and more. Find information on his current series, Sahara, as well

Michael Palin has spent the last fourteen years up to his neck in one travel series after another. From 'Around the World in 80 Days', to 'Pole to Pole', to 'Full Circle', to following in Hemingways footsteps, to his soon-to-be-seen desert series, 'Sahara'.

One part of the world, however, has not seen more than a glimpse of Palin. Until now. Michael Palin has now unleashed himself and his brave crew of explorers on cyber-space. The site, Palin's Travels (, is more than a website; it is an online travelogue/documentary/how-to/where-to and for-how-much travel experience that promises to inform and entertain at the same time. And possibly seperately.

Based on the information collected by Palin over his fourteen years of official BBC travels, and a few he forgot to tell them about, the website contains all the nessesary information for the traveller of any level: Front Line Explorer or Stay-at-home enthusiast, there is something for everyone. I'd tell you all the best bits, but then, where would the fun be in that? Besides, for me to mention all the bits I liked, you would still be reading this into next week, when you could be rowing up the Nile instead.

Well, what are you waiting for?

Oh, don't forget Michael's Sahara will hit UK TV in October, and check out the dates of Michael's world tour book signing starting in the UK to promote 'Sahara' right here on PythOnline's Daily Llama!
