Carol Cleveland entertained audiences at the Komedia theater in her home town of Brighton, January 26. Carol's presence was part of the Komedia Tsunami Benefit Gig, with 100% of ticket sales going to the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.

It was an evening of comedy and music starring Monty Python's Carol Cleveland, The Treason Show - Brighton's comedy sketch show team, Stephen Grant - Brighton's top stand-up comedian, the Brighton Beach Boys - THE Tribute Band, Sussex cricket team captain Chris Adams, and other local celebrities.

BBC News reported this weekend that “The highlight of the evening for a large percentage of the audience was the appearance of a seemingly ageless Carol Cleveland.

“The majority of them were probably not born when the glamorous actress appeared in the great Monty Python series, but took considerable interest in a sketch where she appeared in a negligée and Brailsford sported a Benny Hill-style raincoat.”
