SPAMALOT RECEIVES OUTER CRITICS CIRCLE NOMINATIONS

Spamalot has received 8 nominations for this year's Outer Critics Circle Awards

The Outer Critics Circle, an organization of over 75 theater writers who review New York theater productions for out-of-town publications, announced on April 25 its nominees for the 55th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards and Spamalot made the list... eight times!

The OCC Awards are the first major awards of the season to honor the New York theater, followed by the Drama Desk Awards and the Tony Awards. The winners of awards will be announced on Monday, May 9, and the awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 26 at Sardi's restaurant, beginning at 4pm.

Monty Python's Spamalot was nominated in 8 of the 22 categories, including "Outstanding Broadway Musical." The musical was the second most nominated show, after The Light in the Piazza. The list of nominations that include Spamalot is as follows:
